Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist within our East Intermediate Care Team based at The Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock. Working across East Ayrshire, we are looking for Occupational Therapists who are passionate about rehabilitation and helping people to live independently in their own homes. New funding creates an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team which prevents avoidable hospital admissions and facilitates timely discharge from hospital. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be working within the Health & Social Care Partnership as part of the Intermediate Care Team (ICT) that geographically covers the whole of the partnership. You will be community based with the option of agile/flexible working. You will have a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, discharge and onward referral. This is an exciting time for a forward thinking HCPC registered Occupational Therapist who is a team player with excellent communication skills to join us as we continue to develop community services. A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

Hours And Shift Pattern

2x posts: 36hrs 5/7 days worked on an 8 week rotational weekend cover rota.

Posts are offered on a permanent basis.
