This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

What The Day Will Look Like

Reporting to the Marlin Portfolio Solutions team in Aon Reinsurance Solutions, you will support the underwriting and broking of facultative business across multiple classes, including Property and Power. You will work closely with Aon Reinsurance FAC broking teams across the APAC, EMEA and UK regions, helping them access and deploy Marlin’s capacity effectively.

  • Analyse and support the underwriting of facultative risks across a range of business lines.
  • Review, track and record risks presented to the Marlin facilities, ensuring relevant information is gathered and accurately entered into internal systems.
  • Liaise with Aon Reinsurance broking teams across the APAC, EMEA and UK regions to understand placement needs and support timely solutions.
  • Assist brokers in identifying the most effective use of Marlin’s capacity.
  • Process business documentation and maintain accurate workflow records.
  • Develop strong commercial and technical relationships across the FAC broking network.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • Work experience in insurance or reinsurance, ideally in an underwriting, broking or closely related role and preferably 2 years.
  • Strong analytical capability and a sound general understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across an international network.
  • A collaborative, responsible approach, with attention to detail, dedication and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; an academic degree, completed or in progress, is preferred.
