The company has a strong track record in international film and television, with work premiering at major festivals including Locarno and Tribeca and securing global distribution. Golden Arrow continues to develop and produce distinctive, high-quality stories, including recent feature THE LESSON and a new feature shot in Iraq now in post-production. Producer, writer, and director Rodrigo Jorge leads strategic development, project packaging, and creative oversight, bringing extensive experience across film, theatre, and television. - Role Description
The Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing and communication activities to promote Golden Arrow Pictures Limited’s film projects and business initiatives across UK and international markets.
The role focuses on marketing execution, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement, supporting the company’s commercial objectives and international growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Marketing Campaign Delivery
• Plan, develop, and implement marketing campaigns to promote film projects and company activities aligned with company objectives and project release strategies.
• Coordinate campaign timelines and ensure delivery across relevant channels
• Evaluate marketing performance metrics and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
2. Digital Marketing and Content
• Manage the company’s digital presence, including social media platforms and email communications
• Create and publish marketing content, including written, visual, and video materials
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels
• Use digital tools (e.g. analytics platforms) to measure engagement and effectiveness
3. Market Research and Analysis
• Conduct market research to identify audience trends, target demographics, and market opportunities
• Analyse data to support marketing decisions and campaign planning
• Prepare reports and present findings to support business development activities
4. Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
• Support communication with external stakeholders including distributors, partners, and investors
• Prepare marketing materials such as presentations, pitch decks, and promotional documents
• Assist in coordinating the company’s presence at industry events and festivals
5. International Marketing Support
• Assist in adapting and localising marketing materials for international audiences, including Arabic-speaking markets.
• Support communication with international partners where required, including translation and localisation of marketing content
• Contribute to culturally appropriate marketing approaches for target regions
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Film, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Experience in digital marketing, including social media and content creation
• Ability to plan and deliver marketing campaigns
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Professional working proficiency in Arabic is required due to the role's responsibility for localisation of marketing materials, engagement with Arabic-speaking stakeholders and partners, and support of marketing activities in Arabic-speaking markets.
• Experience conducting market research and analysing data
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience in the film, media, or creative industries
• Experience working with international markets

Golden Arrow Pictures Ltd was founded by BAFTA nominated and BIFA award winning producer Camille Gatin. After coproducing Oscar winning director James Marsh’s SHADOW DANCER for Paramount, Gatin produced the second season of ITV’s Sunday night hit show ENDEAVOUR. In 2016, her first feature as a sole producer, THE GIRL WITH ALL THE GIFTS, starring Glenn close, Paddy Considine and Gemma Arterton, directed by Colm McCarthy, written by Mike Carey and financed by the BFI and the West Midlands Fund, premiered in Locarno, was invited to over 20 festivals where it won countless prizes, earned her a BIFA for Breakthrough Producer and a BAFTA nomination. From 2017 until 2020, Gatin headed international TV scripted coproductions for Banijay International, identifying and packaging coproduction opportunities within the 60+ TV fiction companies owned by Banijay. In 2022, Gatin produced THE LESSON, directed by Alice Troughton, starring Richard E. Grant, Julie Delpy and Daryl McCormack, a UK/Germany coproduction supported by the Global Screen Fund. The Film premiered in TriBeca and was distributed by Bleecker Street in the US, Port au Prince in Germany and Focus International in the rest of the world. Golden Arrow is currently in the final phase of post-production on a new feature shot in Iraq. Rodrigo Jorge is a producer, writer, and director with experience across film, theatre, and television. Jorge wrote the six-part series adaptation of Nicola May's best-selling novel THE CORNER SHOP INCOCKLEBERRY BAY. Rodrigo’s productions have been awarded grants from The National Theatre, Arts Council England, and the Weiner Foundation (NYC), Curitiba Cultural Foundation, as well as the Utah Film Centre’s Documentary Fiscal Sponsorship. He is currently in development with his debut feature film as writer-director, and is responsible for strategic development, project packaging, and creative oversight within Golden Arrow Pictures Ltd.
