Senior - Managing Consultant, US Tech (AI Infra / Quant / Databricks)

TechShack has just had its best ever quarter, and we're on course to beat it in Q4. Now we're taking what works in the UK to the US, and we want a Senior Consultant to own it.

- It's yours! Full ownership of the desk. Build your patch from the ground up, your way.
- Direct line to the top. You'll work directly with one of our co-founders, not three layers of management.
- The fees are big. Quant and trading average £50K+ per placement.
- The money comes in fast. Short notice periods mean deals close in weeks, with less counter-offer risk.
- The market is booming. AI infra is one of the fastest-growing areas in tech: hyperscalers, AI labs, GPU compute providers and trading firms are all hiring.
- Miami is coming. Our Miami office opens in 2027, with visa sponsorship if you want to relocate or keep working US markets from London.
- Room to rise. As the US side scales, the senior and leadership roles go to the people who built it.
What you'll do:
- Build and run a US desk across AI infra, quant and Databricks
- Win new clients and grow accounts from day one
- Headhunt top engineers and close deals across US time zones
- Help shape how we grow in the US
What we’re looking for:
- A senior recruiter who bills consistently and wants more ownership
- US market experience is ideal. If you already know the landscape, there's nothing new to learn.
- Hungry, self-driven and ready to build something

- Up to 40-55k: base depending on track record and experience, commission, benefits
- A 20-person business where your numbers are seen, and we look at packages for experienced consultants case by case
- Four days a week in our office at Monument, London
- Early Friday Finish
- Extended lunch breaks to exercise
