Bruin
M&A / Transaction Tax Manager
Requirements
Requires a tax professional at the Manager level with specific experience in M&A or transaction tax. A recognized qualification such as ACA, CTA, or ACCA is expected.
Job Description
A leading professional services firm is hiring a Manager into its M&A and Transaction Tax team in London. A deals-focused advisory role for someone who wants to be in the middle of live transactions rather than in a compliance cycle.
The role
- Advising private equity, corporate and institutional clients on the tax aspects of live deals: buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence, structuring acquisitions and disposals, reviewing SPAs and financial models for tax, and working alongside corporate finance and legal teams to get transactions over the line. Fast-moving, varied, high-value work with real client exposure early.
Progression
- A genuine springboard. Clear progression to Senior Manager and beyond, with the deal exposure and client responsibility that make that realistic. You'd be developing junior colleagues while building your own network across the deals market, which is the profile that moves up quickly in transaction tax.
Culture and working
- A collaborative, friendly, high-performing team that takes the work seriously. Genuine hybrid working, strong technical development, and the breadth and calibre of clients that come with a major firm.
Skillset
- A tax professional at Manager level with M&A or transaction tax experience, or a strong corporate tax specialist with deals exposure looking to move fully into transactions. A recognised qualification (ACA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent) is expected.
- Candidates requiring UK visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
