Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Logistics Team Leader to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing logistics team, providing coaching, mentoring and development while creating a positive, collaborative culture that delivers exceptional operational results.
  • Drive day-to-day logistics excellence across goods-in, warehousing, materials handling, packing and distribution, ensuring workflows run safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement, using Lean principles, 6S and problem-solving techniques to enhance performance, reduce waste and support business growth.
  • Take ownership of people leadership and compliance, including absence management, return-to-work discussions, recruitment support, performance management, health & safety, quality and ISO standards.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, working closely with colleagues, customers and stakeholders to achieve operational targets, maintain inventory accuracy and deliver a reliable, cost-effective logistics service.

Skills/Experience:

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role

·       Proven logistics experience across warehousing, goods-in, materials handling and distribution.

·       Strong people-leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and develop a team.

·       Clear and professional communication skills for working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

·       Proactive and solutions-focused approach in fast-paced operational environments.

·       Working knowledge of lean or continuous improvement principles to drive efficiency and reduce waste.

·       Competence in ERP and general IT tools, including Microsoft Office.

·       Understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements within a logistics operation.

·       Experience supporting investigations, including performance or root-cause  analysis activities.

·       Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage workflows and meet KPI’s.

·       Commitment to continuous self-development and supporting the development of others.
