Job Description

Located just off the M58 our Skelmersdale tissue converting site is accessible and offers a great opportunity to join a global company committed to breaking down barriers to wellbeing through the products it manufactures and sells. With a significant presence in the Northwest our brands include Cushelle, Plenty and Tork.  

About The Role  

As a Logistics Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of raw materials, including order picking, receiving, storing, and stock replenishment. You will also supply materials to production in a timely manner while maintaining a safe, organised, and compliant working environment. 

What You Will Do 

  • Demonstrate commitment to our I Care journey, ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment. 

  • Work in line with Essity safety standards, taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others. 

  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods, carrying out visual checks for any damage or discrepancies. 

  • Identify, block, and report any nonconforming materials. 

  • Supply raw materials and finished goods to production lines as required. 

  • Remove production waste and return blocked materials or products. 

  • Carry out cycle counts at defined intervals. 

  • Store and allocate materials using the correct location codes. 

  • Complete all required documentation for unloading storage, removal, and cycle count activities. 

  • Maintain forklifts and other logistics equipment in good working order.
