Job Description & Summary

The Corporate practice is one of PwC Legal's largest practice groups. The Corporate team focuses on corporate and business structuring projects ranging from significant multi-territory reorganisation projects to smaller intra-group reorganisations, as well as M&A and private equity work. The team also has specialisms in advising on LLPs and LLP conversions and European company law (cross-border / domestic mergers.

What your days will look like:

  • Wide-ranging, technically detailed corporate projects, offering an interesting and challenging workload.
  • Regular work alongside PwC tax, deals and other advisers, strengthening commercial context and unlocking distinctive projects for top-tier, household-name clients.
  • Opportunity to take meaningful responsibility in a small, busy team as the Corporate practice continues to grow, with support to learn and develop.
  • Expectation to build relationships across PwC and with clients, and to run matters under Corporate partner supervision while collaborating with the wider team.

This role is for you if:

  • You are a qualified solicitor or equivalent common law jurisdiction
  • You have an excellent academic background and strong technical competence in corporate transactional mechanics.
  • You are experienced in general corporate law and private company M&A experience, including intra-group corporate/business structuring work.
  • You have a genuine interest in working across a variety of corporate matters, with strong client service skills.
  • You are a collaborative team player who can also work on your own initiative, with clear and confident written and verbal communication.
  • You are willing to support business development and networking; business development experience and strong IT skills are advantageous.
