The role
London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for three Grade 7 Lecturers in Mental Health and/or Learning Disability Nursing (2x 1.0FTE & 1x 0.4FTE).
The purpose of the role is to lead the design, development and delivery of a range of teaching programmes, student assessment activities and scholarship, professional and knowledge exchange activities. Take a lead role in curriculum development and review (including quality management) and contribute to learning and teaching strategy.

The ideal candidate will;
- Be an NMC registrant as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and/or Learning Disability Nurse.
- Have a good honours degree in a relevant subject with an appropriate subject specialism.
- Have a post graduate qualification in a relevant subject with an appropriate subject specialism, or equivalent professional/industry experience.
- Hold a Fellowship HEA (or equivalent of professional bodies).
- PG Cert or equivalent.
- Track record of positively enhancing the quality of taught provision, increase levels of student satisfaction, improve levels of student retention, progression and employability, and/or support student enterprise activities.
- Evidence of a reflective and thoughtful approach to pedagogy with emphasis on: professional and technical education; the use of stimulating and effective learning and teaching strategies; and the development of effective blended learning strategies than support students in the transition to employment and professional practice.
