Ipswich High School are seeking to appoint a motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to deliver targeted interventions with small groups of pupils, or, on an individual basis.
You should possess a good standard of education, initiative and an ability to communicate well with both teaching staff and pupils. A good level of English, Mathematics and ICT is essential, as is a caring and patient nature.
Key Responsibilities:
support pupils with complex needs across a range of subjects
work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence
promote positive behaviour and engagement
provide pastoral support and contribute to pupil’s wellbeing
assist with supervision duties and wider school activities where required.
