Job Description

We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently. 

 
 

Exciting opportunity for a investor relations professional to join a rapidly growing fund accounting firm. The Investor relations associate plays a key role in providing services to high profile Venture Capital and Private Equity clients and their investors.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and produce notices for capital calls and distributions.
  • Process the movement of cash around the fund structure including the purchase of investments
  • Perform investor mailings, cash management including setting up payments and responding to investor and client queries across a portfolio of clients.
  • Respond directly to major investors on queries regarding all aspects of their fund investment in line with timeframes defined in the Service Level Document.
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients and their investors.
  • Use multiple banking systems to perform cash management for clients.
  • Maintain contact databases and multiple client mailboxes.
  • Set up investor portal uploads.
  • Perform self-review to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work undertaken complies with fund documentation.
  • Communicate any issues to Fund Controller.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Educated to A level or at least 2 years' experience in similar position.
  • Commitment to delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management skills and being able to manage multiple, tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as a team player, proficient in managing own workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook desirable
