Joining us in Business Risk Services

We help and support clients achieve their strategic goals by guiding them through new legislation changes and helping to navigate accounting, regulatory, technology and operating model change. Grant Thornton’s Business Risk Services (BRS) team provides market-leading risk, control and governance services, working with clients across a variety of industries and beyond.

If you’re an experienced Interim IT Internal Auditor who’s tired of choosing between freedom and meaningful work, there’s another route. Within our Business Risk Services team, you’ll be given the opportunity to take on short- to medium-term projects that sharpen your expertise, stretch your thinking, and give you a different angle on familiar challenges - all without locking you into a single path.

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Experience delivering IT internal audits, from planning through to delivery. This is essential.
  • Experience working within industry, in an organisation with annual turnover of £50m or more, ideally within a listed FTSE business.
  • A strong understanding of IT general controls, for example IT risk and governance, identity and access management, IT development, IT change, and IT disaster recovery.
  • Operating at assistant manager, manager or senior manager level.
  • A professional qualification such as CISA, CISM, COBIT, PRINCE2 or ACCA, with post-qualification experience.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites where the engagement requires it.
