Joining us in Tax

The tax team at Grant Thornton offers a wide range of services, including employment tax, reward advisory, indirect tax, and employee benefits consultancy. They help clients manage tax risks, optimize employee rewards, and ensure compliance with complex tax legislation, while also providing strategic advice on cost savings and employee engagement. Their expertise covers businesses of all sizes and sectors, delivering tailored solutions to meet evolving tax and regulatory challenges

If you’re an experienced interim Head of Tax (Financial Services) with experience in the financial services sector, you will have the freedom to work on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time to support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
  • Manage relationships with HMRC and external tax advisors.
  • Lead and mentor the tax team, providing guidance and support.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Provide strategic tax advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
