  • Act as a Level 1 User on clients' Sponsor Management Systems (SMS).
  • Conduct legal research and stay informed of changes to UK immigration legislation, policies and Home Office guidance.
  • Liaise with clients, the Home Office and internal stakeholders to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Support knowledge-sharing, business development and marketing activities to help grow the practice.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in UK business immigration law, excellent client service skills and a genuine enthusiasm for developing their legal career.

You'll bring:
  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales, with up to one year's post-qualification experience, and a valid Solicitors Practising Certificate.
  • An LPC qualification or equivalent.
  • At least one year's practical experience in UK business immigration, gained through a training seat, paralegal role or post-qualification experience.
  • Hands-on experience with sponsor licence applications and ongoing sponsor compliance, ideally within an established business immigration practice.
  • Experience working within a partnership environment.
  • Strong legal drafting, research and analytical skills, with excellent written communication.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent client service.
  • Confidence communicating with clients and stakeholders, including when navigating complex or sensitive situations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach, with the confidence to use your initiative and contribute ideas.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in working alongside professionals from other disciplines.
Above all, you'll be keen to learn, take ownership of your development and contribute positively to the continued success of our Immigration team.
