Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Architect - Dynamics based in United Kingdom.

This role sits at the heart of large-scale international transformation programs powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will act as a key design authority, ensuring end-to-end solution integrity across complex ERP implementations for global customers. Working closely with functional and technical consultants, you will guide architecture decisions that directly shape business performance and operational efficiency. The position combines strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on involvement in solution design, presales, and delivery governance. You will collaborate with diverse multinational teams across multiple industries, bringing structure and clarity to complex business challenges. This is a high-impact role for an experienced architect who enjoys combining leadership, technology, and customer-facing consulting in a global environment.

Accountabilities

  • Act as the solution design authority for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation projects, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with business requirements
  • Lead and coordinate teams of functional and technical consultants throughout the full ERP project lifecycle
  • Provide expert advisory support to customers on business system design, transformation strategy, and implementation best practices
  • Contribute to and promote internal best practices, methodologies, and delivery standards across projects
  • Participate actively in presales activities, including solution design workshops and diagnostic engagements
  • Ensure successful integration of Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure services within client environments
  • Produce high-quality technical and functional documentation to support design decisions and project execution
  • Engage with stakeholders at different organizational levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout delivery

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in ERP consulting, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end ERP implementation projects in complex environments
  • Strong expertise across Dynamics 365 F&O modules with the ability to design integrated, scalable solutions
  • Good understanding of Microsoft ecosystem technologies, including Power Platform, Azure services, automation, and data analytics tools
  • Experience leading cross-functional consultant teams in implementation or transformation projects
  • Background in presales activities, including solution diagnostics and client workshops
  • Strong technical and business documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, structured deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
