Requirements
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in HR administration or training coordination, ideally within a manufacturing environment. A relevant third-level qualification is required, along with strong organizational skills and proficiency in HRIS and MS Office systems.

Kepak Foods Division have developed a portfolio of brands that are successful in the chilled convenience, ambient and frozen meat categories in the UK, Ireland and chosen European markets for both Retail and Foodservice Customers. We're looking for an enthusiastic HR & Training Administrator to join our team in York and play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through to training, development, and day-to-day HR support.

What You'll Be Doing
As our HR & Training Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support across both HR and Learning & Development activities, ensuring our people processes run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Operational Excellence
- Provide HR administration, including contracts, records, system updates, and reporting
- Maintain accurate HR and training records, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
- Coordinate mandatory training, including Health & Safety, Food Safety, and compliance programmes
- Support improvements to HR and training processes
- Assist with people initiatives, engagement activities, and development programmes
- Provide accurate people data and reporting to support business decisions
- Coordinate training activities to support colleague development and operational excellence
- Partner with managers to ensure employees are trained, competent, and successful in their roles
- Work closely with HR, Operations, and managers to deliver a positive colleague experience
- Support recruitment, onboarding, inductions, and training schedules
- Build strong relationships as a visible, approachable point of contact across the site
- 1+ year experience in HR administration, training coordination or similar operational HR role (manufacturing experience advantageous)
- A HR, L&D or equivalent third level qualification - a CIPD qualification would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
- Confident with IT systems (HRIS, LMS, MS Office)
- Understanding of GDPR and HR compliance requirements
