Responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations within specified time frames.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and other required documentation.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicle.

• Valid HGV license appropriate for the vehicle category.
• Proven experience as an HGV driver or in a similar heavy vehicle driving role.
• Good knowledge of local and regional road regulations and safety standards.
• Strong attention to safety and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to safely handle loading and unloading tasks.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
