About The Role

The Head of Websites & Digital Shelf leads the EMEA Marketing Operations Hub capability for Websites and Digital Shelf, ensuring market demand is prioritised and translated into consistent, high-quality execution through global platforms, standards, tools and workflows.

The role owns regional demand orchestration, operational performance, capability adoption and execution quality, acting as the primary interface between markets and the Global Websites and Digital Shelf teams.

The role is execution-oriented and focuses on scaled activation, operations, readiness, QA, coordination and escalation rather than global strategy, platform ownership or product roadmap definition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA Websites & Digital Shelf Hub team, setting priorities, managing resources and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across markets.
  • Own regional demand intake, prioritisation and portfolio transparency, consolidating market requirements, challenging incomplete requests and allocating capacity against agreed business priorities.
  • Act as the primary interface between markets and Global Websites / Digital Shelf teams, translating regional needs into structured requirements while ensuring global standards, tools and operating models are adopted.
  • Oversee regional website operations, including campaign and content activation, localisation, compliance readiness, performance optimisation and adoption of approved platform capabilities.
  • Oversee regional Digital Shelf operations, including planned market requests and always-on optimisation, partner coordination, standards adoption and performance improvement.
  • Own regional operational performance, including execution quality, SLA performance, workflow effectiveness, adoption and relevant Websites / Digital Shelf KPIs, while markets retain accountability for local commercial outcomes.
  • Lead regional agency and delivery partners, ensuring capacity, quality, service levels and ways of working meet agreed standards.
  • Identify systemic execution issues and improvement opportunities, resolving regional issues and advancing global platform, architecture, tooling or capability gaps through the appropriate governance.
  • Build capability across markets, sharing gold standard, improving understanding of available services and enabling teams to use global platforms and standards effectively.
  • Partner with Category, Commercial, Content, Marketing and other relevant teams to ensure Websites and Digital Shelf requirements are incorporated early into brand, campaign and innovation planning.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Digital, Marketing, Technology, Operations, eCommerce or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital operations, marketing operations, eCommerce, digital shelf, website operations, regional hub delivery or related roles.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating execution across multiple markets using standardised processes, tools, templates and workflows.
  • Strong operational leadership experience, including intake management, prioritisation, SLA tracking, issue resolution and escalation.
  • Experience working with global standards and governance while translating market requirements into scalable execution plans.
  • Strong understanding of website operations, Digital Shelf, digital discoverability, accessibility, compliance, content and product-data readiness, and digital performance management.
  • Experience leading agency, managed-service or external delivery partners across multiple markets.
