Requires a BSc or MSc in civil engineering with experience in CAD and structural analysis software. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to produce construction-standard drawings.
Job Description
To meet an increasing workload and support the development and growth of our company, Kelvin Power, have a permanent position for a Civil Engineering Graduate to work within the Civil and Structural Engineering Department.
Kelvin Power provides a wide range of engineering consultancy services on major infrastructure projects in the Energy Sector and have a 40 strong team of experienced multi-disciplinary engineers and technicians delivering solutions to projects across the UK and ROI.
Responsibilities
- Producing calculations and drawings for civil and structural engineering works associated with complex large scale projects including earthworks, roads and drainage, plant structures, steel framed and masonry buildings, foundations and water retaining structures
- Analysis of Structures using Robot Structural analysis, Tekla and MathCAD
- Use of Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and InforDrainage
- Liaising closely in house and externally with clients, clients’ engineers, contractors, statutory bodies and work to agreed delivery programs
- Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols Implement best practice procedure
- Academically qualified to BSc or MSc in civil engineering
- Experience of design and analysis software using CADS/ROBOT/TEDDS
- Experience with MathCAD and structural analysis software desirable
- Excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and ability to produce construction standard drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
