experience working within an investment bank / or with asset management
experience. Client service or client onboarding background would be a
preference.
Overview
Deloitte is supporting a Tier 1 global financial services
organisation in recruiting a Global Markets Client Onboarding Analyst to join a
high-performing Client Experience Operations team.
This role sits within the Global Markets New Business
function and acts as the central point of contact for pre-trade/ Onboarding set
up. GMNM communicates and coordinates with clients across documentation,
account opening and configuration, ensuring optimal client experience & readiness
to trade. The team members are aligned with specific Clients / Sales desks and
work closely with sales coverage, legal, credit risk, operations, compliance
and clients to ensure an effective and smooth onboarding process.
The team members develop strong relationships with
institutional clients, which include asset managers, corporations, hedge funds
and private equity. They are expected to play a key role in client relationship
management and understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the
business as well as grow subject matter expertise in legal, AML/KYC and
regulatory requirements.
This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team sitting across EMEA
(London, Paris & Frankfurt), US (New York, Salt Lake City) and APAC (Hong
Kong, Singapore, Sydney) with individuals who thrive in the fast-paced,
changing environment of the trading floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning
pre-trade client relationship & driving front-to-back onboarding to
ensure readiness to trade across all products (Derivatives, Repo, Cash)
- Use
active discussions with Sales to manage the priority queue
- Drive
internal and external conversations to facilitate the negotiation of
trading agreements: ISDA-CSA, CDEA, GMRA & GMSLA
- Develop
in depth knowledge of all account opening requirements needed such as AML,
KYC & product to legal entity alignment
- Manage
tight deadlines to ensure we meet clients’ service level expectations:
fund launches, market specific deadlines and trade dates
- Provide
excellent pre-trade client service
- Demonstrate
a sound appreciation of new business policies, and process enhancements
Essential Skills & Experience
· 1-2 years post graduate
· Previous experience in an investment bank / asset
management experience
· Client service or client onboarding background
would be a preference
· Super organised
· Presentable/good in front of clients as they
will be taking requests from them
· Confident when liaing with sales professionals /
clients
· Strong client relationship management skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder
management skills.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to
manage multiple priorities.
· High attention to detail.
· Ability to work within fast-paced front-office
environments
Would be an advantage if you have experience/knowledge
Of:
- ISDA-CSA,
GMRA And Other Trading Agreements
- Ideally
from a legal background
- Experience
in related onboarding functions (e.g. Due Diligence, Agreement
negotiation)
- Understanding
of onboarding, KYC/AML or regulatory requirements
