The Role
We are looking for an experienced Global Dayforce Data Migration Lead to own the data migration workstream for our global Dayforce rollout across six regions. This is a senior, hands-on role covering Payroll, Benefits and Workforce Management.
You will translate existing people and payroll data into Dayforce requirements, lead mapping and template preparation, and ensure data is validated, loaded and reconciled accurately. You will also help regional stakeholders understand how data decisions affect configuration, workflows, payroll, reporting and downstream systems.
What Will You Do?
Lead the migration
- Own the global data migration workstream across six regions, aligned to the agreed rollout sequence and milestones.
- Map and transform people, payroll, benefits and workforce data from regional source systems into Dayforce.
- Prepare, quality-check and submit Dayforce data-load templates across test and production environments.
- Resolve data gaps, transformation issues and load errors quickly and accurately.
- Keep data accurate and controlled
- Set clear data-quality standards, validation rules, reconciliation controls and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate validation and formal sign-off with regional People & Culture, Payroll, Finance and business data owners.
- Reconcile employee and payroll data to source systems, payroll outputs and agreed control totals.
- Maintain a clear audit trail of changes, rules, approvals, exceptions and remediation decisions.
- Connect data decisions to the wider solution
- Explain how data decisions affect Dayforce configuration, workflows, security, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce
Management and reporting.
- Work with Dayforce specialists to diagnose and resolve data, configuration and dependency issues.
- Identify downstream payroll, reporting, compliance and operational risks, then recommend practical alternatives.
Deliver regional readiness and cutover
- Lead mapping, validation and readiness workshops across regions and time zones.
- Support mock conversions, user acceptance testing, payroll parallel runs, cutover, final data loads and post-go-live reconciliation.
- Provide clear reporting on readiness, issues, dependencies, risks and decisions for each rollout wave.
- Build sustainable ways of working
- Handle sensitive employee and payroll data securely and in line with data-protection requirements and TTC policies.
- Create reusable global data standards, mapping documents, templates and controls.
- Transfer knowledge and ownership to People Data, Payroll and HRIS teams before the contract concludes.

Your Experience
Essential
- Significant hands-on experience leading data migration within a Dayforce implementation or multi-region rollout.
- Strong knowledge of Dayforce data structures, data-load templates, imports and organisational data.
- Proven experience preparing, loading, validating and reconciling Dayforce data templates.
- Experience supporting Dayforce Payroll, Benefits and/or Workforce Management implementation.
- Experience mapping data from legacy HR, payroll or workforce systems into Dayforce.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex lookups, transformation, validation and reconciliation of large datasets.
- Experience using SQL, Power Query or equivalent tools to extract, transform and analyse HR and payroll data.
- Experience working across multiple countries, legal entities, currencies, pay groups and regional requirements.
- Strong understanding of payroll controls, testing, reconciliation and the impact of data errors.
- Ability to communicate complex system and data requirements clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Highly desirable
- Experience with Dayforce APIs and integration functionality.
- Experience supporting payroll parallel testing and payroll-to-finance reconciliation.
- Experience building global HR data standards, data dictionaries or data-governance frameworks.
- Dayforce certification or formal implementation training.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-brand organisation.
TRAVEL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- This is a full-time, 12-14 month fixed-term contract.
- You must be UK-based and able to work from the London office at least two days per week.
- Occasional international travel may be required during key implementation, testing or go-live periods.
Flexibility is required to collaborate with stakeholders across international time zones.
