Here at Dentalcare Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Dental Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team in our practice Dentalcare Pangbourne. We are a mixed NHS/Private practice who pride ourselves in putting our patients first and ensuring that we provide the best care.


About The Role

  • Hours - We are looking for an applicant who can work 40 hours per week
  • Payment: negotiable, dependant on experience
  • Training on our systems and guaranteed support to help you progress in your career

Key responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors, residents, families and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to enquiries appropriately.
  • Manage reception duties and ensure the front desk is kept organised and welcoming.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration.
  • Receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages.
  • Liaise effectively with staff, residents, families and external professionals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Support the wider team with administrative tasks when required.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and remain calm during busy periods.


About You

  • We are ideally looking for a candidate with a dental receptionist background or someone with reception/front of house experience
  • A committed and hardworking individual who has the drive to succeed
  • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Discreet and respectful when handling confidential information.
  • You will have completed a Secondary / GCSE or similar qualification
  • SOE experience is preferred but not essential
  • Computer skills are essential
