Full Stack Engineer

Synechron is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop and enhance an in-house hardware asset management solution focused on infrastructure assets. The solution uses React, Java, PostgreSQL, and a workflow engine, with development supported by AI-assisted coding tools, CI/CD delivered through a source-control-based automation platform, and deployment on an internal containerised application runtime.

Role:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application features
• Build React user interfaces and Java backend services
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL data models and queries
• Develop and maintain business workflows
• Create automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and support applications on an internal container platform
• Contribute to architecture, security, performance, monitoring, and operational support
• Collaborate with infrastructure, service management, security, and application teams
• Define integrations and data boundaries between asset management systems
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining code quality and security

Experience

• Strong commercial experience developing enterprise applications
• Proficiency in Java, React, and PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with automated testing and secure software development
• Experience with workflow engines or business process automation
• Experience with CI/CD automation
• Familiarity with containerised application platforms and production support
• Experience working in Agile or similar delivery environments

• Workflow: Enterprise workflow engine
• CI/CD: Automated source-control pipelines
• Runtime: Internal containerised application platform
• Development assistance: AI-assisted coding tools

This is a long term rolling contract - x3 days as week in London office - Strong market rates inside IR35
