About The Role

The Frontend Developer role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely on a high-profile, government-related project within a global IT consultancy. This position is a temporary contract lasting three months with the possibility of extension, inside IR35 regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing frontend components using Angular, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and databases. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, applicants must be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level, with sponsorship provided if necessary. The role requires a proactive individual capable of working independently within a multidisciplinary team, following established delivery processes, and adhering to strict security and quality standards.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a strong background in frontend development with proven experience in Angular. Familiarity with Agentic AI development frameworks such as OpenAI (preferred), Anthropic, or Copilot is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in documenting design intent, performing quality assurance on design documentation, and managing dependencies with database and backend teams. Experience in writing unit tests, updating low-level design documents (LLDs), and conducting code reviews is required. Additionally, applicants should have prior experience working in secure environments and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. A relevant technical degree or equivalent qualification, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, will enhance candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement frontend components using Angular, ensuring responsiveness and performance.
• Document design intent clearly and accurately, maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
• Review and validate design documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage dependency reviews and coordinate with database and backend developers to facilitate seamless integration.

• Conduct code reviews on frontend tickets to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
