We want people to experience their healthiest bodies, on their own terms.

To do that, we're closing the data gap that exists in wearables today, gut health and nutrition.

Suna is a wellness wearable for your gut. It listens to your gut around the clock, through sound, and turns what it hears into something you can read every morning. Think of it as the Fitbit for your gut and nutrition. On top of it sits the Oracle, a personal health agent. It joins what the patch hears to the context of your life, what you ate, your calendar, the weather, your email, and talks to you where you already are, on WhatsApp or iMessage. We are a small founding team in London and San Francisco, and we build the device, the models and the app ourselves.

The role

You own the app, iOS and Android in equal measure, and every other surface people meet Suna on. It has to feel as considered as anything Apple ships.

You may own

• The mobile codebase, architecture and release process, end to end.
• The live connection between device and phone: pairing, syncing, background data, battery-friendly BLE.
• Turning continuous body data into interfaces people read at a glance.
• The surfaces beyond the app. Our personal agents live where people already talk, WhatsApp, iMessage, email, and you build how they gather context from those conversations and reply in them.
• Shipping fast without shipping rubbish. No QA department, your name on it.

You'll fit if

• You care about the last 5 per cent: the details most engineers skip.
• Apps in the store, side projects and hackathons count more than a tidy CV.

Nice to have

• BLE or hardware-connected apps
• Time at a wearable (Oura, WHOOP)
• A health app people love

How we work

Full-time, in person, in London.

Salary plus equity.

We work a lot (including weekends) and it will never be a strict 9-to-5.

This is not for you if

- No prior interest in health and health tech.

- You are high maintenance.

- You hop jobs. It is a red flag for us.

- You chase big names and vanity metrics over the mission.

- You want a strict 9-to-5. This will never be that.
