Spectrum Search
Founding Deployment Strategist
Requirements
Candidates need strong experience in enterprise software deployment, implementation, consulting, investment banking, or another analytical client-facing role, along with a record of driving software adoption in complex organizations. They should be skilled in senior stakeholder management, structured problem-solving, translating business needs for engineering teams, using AI tools such as Claude or Cursor to build prototypes, and working in an early-stage environment.
Job Description
Spectrum Search is partnered with an early-stage AI technology company deploying enterprise software into complex, regulated environments. The company is building its deployment capability in London and is looking for its first dedicated Deployment Strategist to work directly with founders, engineers and senior customer stakeholders.
About the opportunity
This is a founding deployment role with significant ownership over how enterprise customers adopt and expand the product. You will lead live customer deployments, translate operational challenges into clear product requirements and help establish the playbook for future implementations.
The role sits at the intersection of strategy, implementation, product and enterprise stakeholder management. It suits someone comfortable operating without an established playbook who can bring structure to ambiguous customer environments.
The role
You will own the non-engineering side of multiple enterprise pilots, working closely with customers and the internal engineering team to move deployments from initial implementation through to broader adoption.
You will be expected to understand complex workflows quickly, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and turn customer requirements into actionable priorities for technical teams. You will also use AI tools to build prototypes and demonstrations that support customer conversations.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of active enterprise pilot deployments
- Manage customer communication, meetings, data gathering and stakeholder coordination
- Build trusted relationships with senior enterprise stakeholders and navigate resistance to new technology
- Translate complex business workflows into clear product and engineering requirements
- Partner closely with engineers throughout implementation and deployment
- Drive successful adoption and support the progression of pilots into broader deployments
- Identify opportunities to expand the product into additional workflows and areas within customer organisations
- Build product demonstrations and lightweight prototypes using AI development tools
- Create structured deployment processes and contribute to the operating playbook for future customers
Essential requirements
- Strong experience in enterprise software deployment, implementation, strategy consulting, investment banking or another highly analytical client-facing environment
- Demonstrable ability to get software adopted within complex enterprise organisations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including confidence working directly with senior decision-makers
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability in ambiguous situations
- Ability to translate business requirements effectively between commercial stakeholders and engineering teams
- Strong written and verbal communication with disciplined follow-through
- Practical fluency with modern artificial intelligence tools, including the ability to build demonstrations or prototypes using tools such as Claude or Cursor
- Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where processes are still being established
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer offices across the UK
Nice-to-haves
- Deployment Strategist, Forward Deployed or Implementation experience within an early-stage or scaling technology company
- Experience taking deployments from initial pilot through to wider enterprise adoption
- Experience working with insurance, financial services or another regulated enterprise sector
- Hands-on experience building personal AI projects, prototypes or hackathon projects
Location and remote setup
This is a full-time, London-based role requiring five days per week on-site, alongside regular travel to customer offices across the UK. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available.

About Spectrum Search
Spectrum Search is the trusted talent partner in digital assets and AI — an executive search firm built by practitioners, not generalists. We partner with companies and investors on senior and executive hires across two industries we know from the inside. On one side: exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, market-makers and protocol foundations. On the other: AI labs, applied-AI businesses, and the frontier-compute teams powering them. Most search firms treat digital assets and AI as adjacent verticals to a generalist technology practice. The partners running those practices have rarely sat inside a market-making desk, a protocol foundation or a model lab. The cost is felt at the shortlist stage — where candidates get assessed on surface signals rather than on the technical and commercial judgement these roles actually require. Spectrum operates from inside the work. The specialist who takes the brief is the same person who runs the shortlist. Sector judgement is non-negotiable. Our networks are mapped at the level of named operators in named niches — not at the level of titles on a CV database. When a client engages us, the first conversation is about what good looks like in their specific corner of the market. The shortlist follows from there. Coverage is delivered through depth, not footprint. The firm is registered in the United Kingdom and the partners are based here. Our briefs are global — in any given quarter we are working across Europe, North America, the Gulf and Asia. If a senior or executive hire is on your roadmap, we'd welcome a quiet first conversation. Discreet by default. Reach us at info@spectrum-search.com, or call the London office on +44 203 468 6977. → spectrum-search.com
