This role is responsible for safely operating a production line to manufacture products in accordance with defined specifications and standard operating procedures. As a member of the shift team, the operator is accountable for the performance of the assigned machinery. The Intermediate Operator possesses the skills required to efficiently operate and sustain the equipment and processes, ensuring consistent and reliable production. This role is predominantly an FLT Operator role.
What You Will Do
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to our I Care journey, ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
- Operate production processes and equipment efficiently and in accordance with established standards.
- Apply process controls consistently to maintain stable and reliable operations.
- Understand machine operation and functionality, performing CIL activities and basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Lead small changeovers and support smooth transitions between production runs.
- Order, prepare, and correctly install raw materials following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both the previous and next shifts, as well as with all team members involved in machine operation.
- Uphold excellent housekeeping standards throughout the work area.
- Ensure product quality by performing regular checks against specifications, rejecting or blocking non‑conforming products when necessary.
- Accurately complete all required production documentation and data records.
- FLT licence is essential
- Experience working as an operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to operate complex machinery or production equipment and understand related processes.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving minor technical or mechanical issues.
- Experience contributing to process optimization or improving production efficiency.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, equipment maintenance procedures, calibration, inspections, and cleaning activities.
