Mulberry is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our Finance team and play a key role in embedding robust stock and margin accounting across the Group. This is a hybrid role, based at our Somerset Head Office, with a minimum of three days per week spent on site to support collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a specialist and business-critical area of Finance, ensuring the accurate valuation, control and reporting of Mulberry's global inventory and gross margin. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Planning, Production and Operations, you will help shape processes, drive continuous improvement and provide valuable insight that supports business performance and decision-making.
As a Finance Manager at Mulberry, you will be passionate about delivering financial excellence, enjoy working collaboratively across teams and be motivated by identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and controls. You will combine strong technical expertise with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach, helping ensure our stock and margin reporting remains accurate, efficient and fit for the future.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong understanding of stock and inventory accounting alongside the confidence to influence and build relationships across the business. You'll be comfortable working with large volumes of data, translating complex financial information into meaningful insight and driving improvements that add value.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Has experience within a retail, manufacturing or similarly complex inventory environment.
- Demonstrates strong stock, inventory and margin accounting knowledge.
- Enjoys building collaborative relationships and partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
- Is naturally curious, analytical and driven by continuous improvement.
- Can communicate technical information clearly and effectively to a broad audience.
- Takes ownership, shows initiative and delivers with accuracy and attention to detail.
