Requirements
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in rail or major civil infrastructure estimating and a strong understanding of construction methodologies. Experience with Australian infrastructure projects is preferred, but international experience is also welcomed.

Following the integration of DCWC into RPI, we are entering an exciting period of growth and expanding our Cost Engineering capability nationally.
With significant investment occurring across Australia’s transport infrastructure sector, we are looking to connect with experienced Rail Cost Estimators who can bring specialist technical knowledge and expertise to our growing team.
This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals and contribute to major rail and transport infrastructure projects across Australia.
We are interested in hearing from experienced Cost Estimators with backgrounds including:
- Rail infrastructure
- Civil construction
- Major transport projects
- Infrastructure estimating and cost planning
- Contractor, consultancy or client-side cost environments
About you : We are seeking experienced Cost Estimators with strong technical capability and a proven background delivering estimates for complex infrastructure projects.
Ideally, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in rail or major civil infrastructure estimating
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quantities and cost drivers
- Experience developing first principle estimates across project phases, from concept through to delivery
- The ability to analyse project scope, risks, assumptions and cost impacts
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients
Experience with Australian infrastructure projects is highly regarded; however, we welcome candidates with international rail experience who are interested in applying their expertise in Australia.
