Job Description
Location - London, Edinburgh, Aberdeen
As we continue to grow the support offering to the offshore energy industry, we are seeking candidates for Graduate and Consultant level roles in the Environment Team, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will support a variety of marine infrastructure consenting projects for a range of clients across the UK and internationally. You will work across different technical subjects, in multiple industries, including but not limited to oil & gas, ports & harbours, cables and interconnectors, and offshore renewables, across the full project lifecycle; from early concept, through operations, to decommissioning.
Day to day activities are varied and include;
As a valued member of the team, you will be supported and mentored on the development of your career and will be given responsibility and purpose from day one. Within the role you will be given structured training on different industries that we work in (and synergies between them), on specific environmental technical topics, and project management.

- Offshore environmental fieldwork;
- Analysis of environmental data;
- Environmental impact assessments;
- Preparation of clear and concise environmental reports; and
- Project and budget management

Requirements
Required Qualifications/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum of 2.1 Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (such as marine biology/ecology, environmental science/management, marine planning, engineering);
- Commitment to developing your technical knowledge and a positive approach to professional development;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative, innovation and passion;
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (experience of other software or digital skills is beneficial)
- Master's degree in a relevant subject;
- General understanding of environmental impact assessment;
- Knowledge of marine environment, ecology, policy and consenting;
- Interest in offshore energy industries and the environmental challenges associated with their development, operation and decommissioning; and
- Awareness of offshore survey techniques.
