Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager

Location: Hybrid / London

Contract: Initial contract through to Q1 2027.

Rate: £650 per day via Umbrella, Inside IR35 — potentially negotiable for the right level of experience

Robert Half is supporting a leading financial services organisation with the appointment of an experienced Business Central (BC) Implementation Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major Business Central implementation.

The organisation is currently at the requirements sign-off stage, with project teams already established and an implementation partner engaged. They are looking for an experienced delivery-focused PM who can take ownership of the project and drive it through to a successful Q1 go-live.

The Role

This is a hands-on project leadership position, responsible for providing strong delivery governance, coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring the implementation remains on track across scope, timelines, dependencies and deliverables.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the Business Central implementation.
• Managing project deliverables, milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Coordinating internal project teams, technical teams, business stakeholders and the implementation partner.
• Establishing and maintaining the project timetable and ensuring key activities remain on track.
• Managing project RAID logs and driving resolution of issues and dependencies.
• Providing clear project governance and ensuring appropriate reporting is in place.
• Preparing and presenting regular updates for Steering Committee meetings.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders to manage expectations, decisions and escalations.
• Challenging delivery plans where appropriate and ensuring accountability across workstreams.
• Supporting the project through the remaining requirements, design, build, testing and implementation phases through to January delivery.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience leading Business Central / Dynamics NAV implementations from a project management perspective.
• Strong understanding of Business Central implementation lifecycles and the challenges involved in delivering ERP programmes.
• Experience managing an implementation partner / SI and multiple project workstreams.
• Strong project governance, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience preparing and presenting Steering Committee-level reporting.
• The confidence to take ownership of an existing project and quickly establish control and delivery momentum.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within complex or regulated environments, ideally financial services, would be advantageous.
• Availability to start at short notice and work through to the January delivery timeframe.
