Job Description
Start Date: Commencing September 2027
Base Location: Aberdeen, Aldbrough/Atwick, Dundee, Glasgow, Inverness, Medway, Oban, Perth, Portsmouth and Reading.
Salary: £35,000 per annum + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family
Working Pattern: Full Time | Flexible First options available

Our Engineering Graduate Programme gives you the opportunity to apply what you've learned at university to meaningful projects, gain hands-on experience and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful engineering career. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to live work and gain insight into the challenges, opportunities and innovations shaping the industries and infrastructure that support everyday life.
About The Programme
As an Engineering Graduate, you'll gain experience across a broad range of engineering activities, helping to develop, deliver, operate and maintain important infrastructure and assets.
Depending on your location, discipline and placement, you could be involved in engineering design, technical analysis, project planning, asset management, construction, commissioning, maintenance, operational support or continuous improvement activities. Some opportunities are primarily office based, while others provide regular exposure to operational environments, project sites and field-based engineering activities. Many roles offer a blend of both, giving you valuable insight into how engineering concepts move from design and planning through to delivery and operation.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, contribute to live projects and gain first-hand experience of how engineering supports the successful delivery of major projects and operational activities.

You'll have, or be expected to achieve, a minimum 2:2 honours degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Built Environment, Control & Instrumentation, Data & Digital, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or Mechanical Engineering.
