What You’ll Accomplish:
- Lead the testing of integrated electronic circuits and/or subsystems as a primary duty.
- Design, build and test electronics solution using your skills of analogue, and digital circuit design together with industry standard CAD packages and test equipment.
- Write the documentation of the electronics circuits and verification tests.
- Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas.
- Maintain the multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, physicists, working towards a common goal.
- Play a key role in building test systems for quantum computers.
- Maintain UQs’ position of using state of the art electronics solutions.
- Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues.
- Engage with project planning activities, risk management, and scheduling requirements.
- Help with fast turn-around proof of concepts and feasibility discussions.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
