Data Engineer

About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Spark AWS Scala TABLEAU and JAVA Microservices Architecture to design and build scalable cloud native data platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing high performance data processing solutions implementing robust DevOps practices and enabling data driven business insights through modern data engineering frameworks.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

• Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and distributed data processing solutions using Spark and Scala.
• Strong experience in BI tools like TABLEAU and strong experience in SQL.
• Design and implement JAVA Microservices based Architecture for data and business applications.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion transformation and processing frameworks on AWS Cloud.
• Leverage AWS services such as S3 EMR Lambda ECSEKS Glue and Redshift to build enterprise grade solutions.
• Implement CICD pipelines and automate deployments using modern DevOps practices.
• Work closely with business analytics and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Ensure high standards of performance scalability security and reliability across applications and data platforms.
• Support reporting and analytics initiatives by integrating data with Tableau and other BI tools.
• Participate in architecture discussions code reviews and technical mentoring.

Your Skills:

• Strong hands on experience in Tableau development.
• Expertise in Apache Spark for largescale data processing.
• Strong programming experience in Scala.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud native architecture.
• Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong DevOps knowledge including Git Jenkins Docker Kubernetes CICD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of SQL NoSQL databases data modeling and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of Tableau and data visualization ecosystems.
