As a Contract Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the safe and reliable operation of Sizewell B Power Station.
Working closely with suppliers, stakeholders and operational teams, you'll drive contract performance, supplier performance, commercial management, stakeholder management and contract negotiation activities. You'll help us deliver value as we support the transition towards An Electric Britain.
You'll support one of the UK's most important nuclear sites, helping to deliver essential services while identifying opportunities for commercial improvement, procurement support and operational efficiency across key contracts.
This role is based on site at #SizewellB Power Station.
You'll work closely with a wide range of teams across the station, building strong relationships and gaining valuable insight into the operational environment that keeps low-carbon electricity flowing to homes and businesses across the UK.
This role is being offered on a 18 month fixed term contract.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the performance of key contractors to ensure value, quality, productivity and contractual compliance
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and communicating contract information effectively
- Identifying and delivering commercial improvements and efficiency opportunities across contracts and operational activities
- Leading contract negotiations and supporting commercial decision-making
- Resolving contractual issues, managing supplier escalations and supporting contract renewals or re-procurement activities
Who You Are

- Holding an HNC or equivalent qualification in a business or commercial discipline
- Contract management within a regulated, industrial, engineering or operational environment
- Managing supplier and contractor performance against contractual requirements
- Leading contract negotiations and resolving contract-related issues
- Financial and commercial control, including cost management
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
Pay, Benefits and Culture
We are offering a starting salary of between £47,513 and £99,929, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
