Consultant Psychiatrist, HTT, SW (attracts £25K RRP)

Must be a qualified Consultant Psychiatrist capable of providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team. Requires the ability to liaise effectively with general and specialist teams to ensure seamless patient care pathways.
Job Description
Our HTT offers urgent & intensive mental health support to adults aged 18-65 in crisis, helping people stay at home & avoid hospital admissions wherever possible. You'll be working with a skilled & welcoming multi-professional team, supporting people across Guildford & Waverley.
As our Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll provide clinical leadership, expert assessments, & treatment planning. You'll also support early discharge from hospital &work closely with local teams, services & carers. The role is central to helping people recover in the community with the right support in place.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering Consultant psychiatric input & clinical leadership to the MDT & acting as a consultant/advisor to the team in line with the developing models of practice under 'New Ways of Working'
The post-holder is also expected to liaise effectively with the other general & specialist teams operating in Surrey to ensure effective handover of care when patients transfer between teams as part of the patient pathway.

- Salary: NHS Consultant Grade £113,565 - £150,569 + £149 fringe
