Consolidation Accountant

Consolidation Accountant - market rate - outside IR35. London 5 days a week onsite.

We are looking for a qualified Consolidation Accountant to play a key role in the implementation of SAP Group Reporting as part of our finance transformation program. This position combines technical accounting expertise with system configuration and process design to deliver a robust, automated consolidation solution for the group.

Key Responsibilities

• System Implementation & Design
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to define requirements for SAP Group Reporting analytical
• Data Migration & Validation
  • Assist in mapping legacy data to SAP Group Reporting
  • Perform reconciliations and validate data integrity during
• Testing & UAT
  • Develop test scripts for consolidation scenarios, including multi-currency and complex group
  • Execute UAT and document results, ensuring system outputs align with accounting
• Process Optimization
  • Document new consolidation processes and
  • Support creation of training materials and user guides for finance
• Go-Live & Post-Implementation
  • Provide hands-on support during go-live and initial reporting
  • Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement

Skills & Qualifications

• Essential
  • Qualified accountant {ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of group consolidation principles under
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation systems (SAP Group Reporting

and/or SAP FC preferable)

• Previous involvement in consolidation finance system implementation projects.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with data validation techniques.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency
• Understanding of intercompany eliminations and complex ownership
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud or related reporting
