Job Description

Are you a creative communications all-rounder with a passion for engaging colleagues, shaping completing stories and strengthening corporate reputation?

Arla Foods is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our UK Communications team on a permanent, full-time basis. Primarily focused on the UK market, you will support key communication priorities across Arla and lead the delivery and planning of UK internal communications while partnering closely with global colleagues to align activity and share best practice.

How You Will Make An Impact

As Communications Specialist, you will develop and deliver integrated, 360° communications that bring Arla’s corporate narrative to life, support business priorities and engage colleagues. You’ll lead colleague communications in the UK, contribute to the wider communications agenda and play a key role in embedding Feed life across the business.

Key responsibilities include

  • Plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns across internal communications, media relations, public affairs, farmer-owner communications and corporate reputation activity, supporting issues management, corporate announcements and strategic projects.
  • Lead the delivery of UK colleague communications and employee engagement activity, including Town Halls, Share the News, leadership communications and colleague campaigns, while leading selected global delivery projects.
  • Create compelling multimedia content across articles, video, podcasts, presentations, social media and leadership communications, translating complex topics into clear and engaging stories and using Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled tools to enhance content creation.
  • Lead the integration of Feed Life and champion consistent use of Arla's Corporate Visual Identity and communications standards through storytelling, campaigns and leader communications.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, agency partners and colleagues across UK, ASC and Global teams to provide communications advice, support leaders, maintain consistent messaging, drive alignment and share best practice.

What Will Make You Successful

To be successful in this role, you will be a confident communications professional with experience developing and delivering integrated communications across multiple channels and audiences. You’ll combine strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the creativity and practical capability to produce engaging multimedia content.

You’ll be comfortable advising senior stakeholders, shaping clear narratives and managing communications in a fast-paced, matrix organisation. Strong collaboration, judgement and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to balance UK priorities with global alignment.

Success in the role will be reflected in informed and engaged colleagues, confidently supported leaders, consistent and visible use of Feed Life, and high-quality communications that strengthen Arla’s reputation and support business performance and culture.
