About the Role
We are seeking a Communications Manager based in London to take full ownership of media relations across EMEA and APAC, driving our internal communications strategy, and supporting the broader global communications function.
Reporting directly to the Director of Global Communications (based in North America), this role strikes a balance between strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will maintain a steady drumbeat of partner and corporate announcements, elevate brand visibility across key international markets, and keep our global, decentralized team aligned and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Narrative & Storytelling
Help build category leadership through strategic storytelling - translating technical capabilities and macro trends into stories that resonate in the public domain.
Build and execute thought leadership tracks for our executive team - op-eds, speaking engagements (conferences, podcasts), and organic social strategy.
Media Relations & PR (EMEA & APAC Ownership)
Own regional PR and media strategies across EMEA and APAC, driving partner launches, product announcements, and corporate news.
Act as the primary regional day-to-day lead for media inquiries, analyst relations, and external PR agencies.
Draft, edit, and localize press releases, pitches, briefing documents, and media lists to secure high-impact regional coverage.
Serve as the regional issue management lead across EMEA and APAC, drafting reactive statements, maintaining risk messaging protocols, and coordinating swift alignment with global legal and executive leadership during critical moments.
Internal Communications Strategy
Own the internal comms roadmap, ensuring our global workforce stays connected to company strategy, performance, and culture.
Partner with the People Team and regional leadership to execute company-wide communication moments, including quarterly All-Hands and executive updates.
Develop engaging internal content to highlight partner wins, product milestones, and employee achievements.
Thought Leadership & Global Support:
Collaborate with Global comms colleagues to support global campaigns and overarching brand messaging.
Identify proactive thought leadership, executive visibility, and speaking opportunities for leadership across fintech, insurtech, and embedded finance spaces.
Drive executive communications, awards submissions, and owned event content.
Amplification & Channel Strategy:
Amplify media coverage and internal wins across owned social media and internal platforms.
Package news and narrative assets to empower regional teams to promote milestones on their professional networks.
When a campaign is PR-led, own the integrated strategy from start to finish - coordinating with Growth on execution across social and other channels so it lands as one campaign.
What you will bring
Experience: 7-10 years in communications, public relations, or journalism. Agency and client-side is a plus.
Regional Expertise: Demonstrated track record of navigating media landscapes across EMEA and exposure to (or experience coordinating across) APAC markets; broader multi-region or global experience is highly preferred.
Scope Fit: Proven experience managing external PR (partner/corporate announcements) alongside internal communications (employee engagement, executive comms, town halls).
Industry Focus: Experience in B2B SaaS, insurtech, fintech, or fast-growing technology sectors is strongly preferred.
Fluent with AI-assisted workflows - you use tools like ChatGPT or Claude as part of your daily process for research synthesis, first drafts, and idea generation, not just occasionally. Be ready to walk through how AI shows up in your work during the interview.
Agency Management: Solid experience collaborating with and guiding external PR agency partners.
Location: Based in or able to work from London, UK.
What you will have
Executionist + strategist: You can run a partner launch on deadline and also step back and ask what story we should be telling next.
The Storyteller: You don't just report the news, you build the narrative around it. You can take a technical capability or a macro trend and shape it into a category story people repeat. You think in "so what," not just "what happened," and you can structure a brand narrative that holds together across a dozen different moments.
Regionally fluent: You understand how to adapt a global narrative for EMEA and APAC media without losing the throughline.
Builder (not just a maintainer): You're drawn to the idea of shaping a function early, with room to grow as the team scales.
Collaborative: Comfortable working alongside an external agency and a NA-based director without needing to own every piece of the relationship.
AI-Native: You've built AI into how you work. It shows up in how you research, draft, and iterate, and you can talk concretely about where it's saved you time or sharpened your thinking.
