Civil Quality Inspector | Teesside | 12-Month Contract
Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Civil Quality Inspector to support a major Net Zero infrastructure project based in Teesside. The role will be on a 12 Month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile project, ensuring that quality inspection activities are delivered to the highest standards and that all installations comply with project specifications, approved quality plans, inspection and test plans, and applicable international codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and verify hold, witness, and inspection activities in line with contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Review material test certificates and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Ensure inspection and testing activities are completed in accordance with approved quality plans, project specifications, and relevant codes and standards
- Maintain material traceability and ensure project preservation requirements are met
- Witness installation, manufacturing, and testing activities, including occasional off-site visits
- Review, endorse, and manage Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs)
- Provide feedback into supplier performance evaluations
Essential Requirements
- HNC in a Technical or Quality Management discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience within quality and/or inspection roles on oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, energy, or similar major projects
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and relevant quality standards
- Experience reviewing manufacturing data books and inspection records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
