We are seeking highly motivated experienced Baristas and Catering Assistants to help support the service in delivering a high standard of food and drink offer to our students and customers in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive, customer focussed and ‘Can-do’ attitude. You will also have a passion for food and drink service, have the ability to work using your initiative and work as part of a team, be able to remain focused during busy times maintaining high levels of hygiene, food safety and attention to detail whilst offering speed and efficiency of service. You must also be physically fit to carry out various tasks of moving stock or equipment and carry out cleaning duties within the business.
You will be involved in the preparation and service of food and drink in different outlets on the campus and ensure customer satisfaction whilst helping to drive sales. You will be responsible for carrying out all food safety, health & safety and COSHH processes within food production and service areas. You will also carry out all washing up and cleaning duties to maintain the highest cleaning and hygiene standards in all areas.
Service Information:
The Catering department is situated in the grounds of small friendly campus with easy access to good transports links. The Catering team are responsible for creating the best campus food experience for our students, staff and visitors as well as delivering hospitality to functions and events.
We are looking to hear from candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about food service and have the desire to consistently deliver food of the highest quality to staff, students and staff. We are a growing team and you will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the business including the restaurant, cafes and events. Many of our team haveprogressed within the service and successful candidates will have the support of a dedicated line manager.
