Requirements

Candidates must have previous experience boning or trimming meat and be able to demonstrate good knife skills. Good communication and teamwork skills are required, along with the ability to use initiative and contribute to high levels of customer service.

Job Description

We are looking for VISA Workers who are skilled Butchers, Deboners and Trimmers to join our team at Treburley near Launceston in Cornwall. The successful candidates will be required to undertake de-boning and trimming of beef carcasses to customer specification whilst ensuring maximum meat yield is achieved.

  • Boning and trimming beef products following customer specifications.
  • Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Maintain current yields and quality standards.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience of boning or trimming meat;
  • Be able to demonstrate good knife skills;
  • Possess good communication and team working skills;
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service


Benefits

  • The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 5.45am to 2.15pm.
  • You will receive the standard rate available for a visa worker in the UK, with any hours worked over 37.5 paid at time and a quarter (Up to a maximum of £750 per week).
  • You will be paid for a minimum of 37.5 hours, regardless of whether the operation reaches these hours.
  • The company pay for all visa related costs.
  • Accommodation support will be provided, with the first 4 weeks paid for.
  • There will be a food voucher provided on arrival.
  • There will be 4 weeks travel to work provided.
  • Opportunity for dependants to work for the company also.
  • There will also be expert support to ensure you have the best opportunity of passing the requirements to successfully apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain the UK.
