BIM Coordinator, Structural
Requirements
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least seven years of BIM experience on structural building or infrastructure projects are required; UAE experience is preferred. Candidates should have hands-on structural modeling skills, working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans, experience with model review and clash detection, and strong English communication and reporting skills.
Job Description
Coordinate structural BIM delivery, ensuring structural models are coordinated with architecture and MEP, meet the required LOD and comply with project BIM requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate structural models with architecture and MEP disciplines, and resolve clashes and interface issues.
- Run clash detection, lead structural coordination meetings and track issues to close out.
- Coordinate openings, sleeves and builder's work with MEP, and keep them modelled in the structural model.
- Review structural models for LOD, information content and compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.
- Check models against structural design drawings and schedules.
- Produce coordinated structural drawings, including general arrangements, sections and opening layouts.
- Manage model sharing on the Common Data Environment in line with ISO 19650.
- Guide and review the work of structural BIM modelers.
- Support structural modelling activities as required, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, openings and sleeves.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 7+ years of BIM experience on structural works for buildings or infrastructure.
- UAE experience preferred.
Revit Structure, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud. Tekla Structures is an advantage.

- Hands on modelling skills to support the team when required.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans.
- Experience with model review, clash detection and LOD requirements.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English.
- Ability to work with clients, consultants and contractors.
