BIM Coordinator, Infrastructure (Civil)
Requirements
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least seven years of BIM experience, including three or more years on infrastructure or civil projects, are required; UAE experience is preferred. Candidates should have hands-on skills with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks Manage, InfraWorks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, plus knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans, model review, clash detection, and LOD requirements.
Job Description
Coordinate the BIM delivery of infrastructure and civil works, including roads, utilities, drainage and earthworks, ensuring models are coordinated, compliant with project BIM requirements and ready for review and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate civil and infrastructure models across disciplines and with other project parties.
- Lead clash detection and coordination meetings for infrastructure works, and track issues to close out.
- Review and check corridor, surface, alignment and utility models for quality and compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.
- Verify models and drawings against survey data, design inputs and authority requirements.
- Prepare coordinated drawings, quantities and model outputs from Civil 3D and Revit.
- Manage model sharing and file naming on the Common Data Environment in line with ISO 19650.
- Support the Lead BIM Coordinator and BIM Manager with BEP input, model audits and reporting.
- Guide and review the work of BIM modelers on the infrastructure team.
- Support civil and infrastructure modelling activities as required, including roads, surfaces, grading, drainage and utilities.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of BIM experience, with at least 3 years on infrastructure or civil projects.
- UAE experience preferred.
Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks Manage, InfraWorks, Autodesk Construction Cloud. Knowledge of 12d or OpenRoads is an advantage.

- Hands on modelling skills to support the team when required.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans.
- Experience with model review, clash detection and LOD requirements.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English.
- Ability to work with clients, consultants and contractors.
