B737 Type Rated Captains
Requirements
Candidates must have a total of 3,000 hours of flying time, including 1,000 hours as Pilot In Command on B737 or similar aircraft. A valid UK unfrozen Flight Crew Licence and a current B737 Type Rating are also required.
Job Description
We Currently Have Direct Entry Captain Positions Available At
- London Stansted
- Leeds Bradford
- Bristol
Each base is managed by a current line Captain supported by a dedicated crew development team, there to manage your professional and personal journey.
Our B737 regular schedule is almost entirely 2 sector days with full time Captains flying on average less than 750 hours each year.
Our in-house ATO has 2 UK based training centres, and Captains are eligible for over 20 secondary roles in our training, technical or pastoral teams.
If You Would Like To Be Considered To Become a Jet2 Captain On Our Boeing 737 Fleet, You Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
- 3,000 hours total flying time with 1,000 hours PIC on B737 or similar sized jet aircraft. Ideally, large jet command time in the last 3 years.
- A valid UK unfrozen Flight Crew Licence
- Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5
- Current Class One Medical
- You must hold a current B737 Type Rating
- A high basic salary – not hours dependent with competitive flight and sector pay.
- Stable basing, confirmed at the point of offer
- Transparent and fair base transfer policy – based on seniority of request rather than time in company
- Two sector days - with options for a.m or p.m preferencing
- Roster publication in week one of each month covering to the last day of the following month.
- Live free bidding for 37 annual leave days– instant confirmation, not based on company seniority
- 4 Requested Days Off per month Annual Leave does not need to be used to secure every day off which you need.
- Local base management with all bases managed by current line Captains.
