Job Description
Role: AWS Project Manager
- Lead AWS Cloud Transformation Projects
- Drive end-to-end delivery of AWS migration, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Project Planning & Governance
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, RAID logs, resource allocation, budgets, and project reporting while maintaining strong governance and control frameworks.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business sponsors, cloud architects, engineering teams, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- AWS Delivery Expertise
- Manage projects involving AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and cloud-native application deployments.
- Risk & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while driving resolution through effective escalation and decision-making processes.
- Agile & Hybrid Delivery Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies, ensuring successful execution of cloud initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Required Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years of Project Management experience.
- 3+ years managing AWS Cloud Migration or Transformation Programs.
- Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- PMP, Prince2, Agile Certification, or AWS Certification preferred.
Ideal Candidate: Proven AWS Project Manager with experience delivering large-scale enterprise cloud transformation programs across Banking, Telecom, Financial Services, or Retail sectors.
