The Opportunity

We are looking for two Associates with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join our Core Real Estate team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality property transactions for a diverse client base, whether pension houses, private capital, public money or occupiers.

 

Our Team

The Core Real Estate team forms part of Eversheds Sutherland’s market-leading Real Estate practice across the UK. The UK team is formed of circa 150 lawyers, including 36 Partners supported by Legal Directors, Principal Associates, Senior Associates and Associates across our national office network.

Together, the team advises across all sectors, with the London office focussing on data centres, logistics, housing, regeneration and infrastructure, in addition to traditional investment portfolios. We pride ourselves on the quality of our training and encourage our teams to attend regular professional development sessions to enhance their capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, lettings and asset management.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, leases and ancillary documents.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Support senior lawyers and partners on complex matters and contribute to business development initiatives.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for:

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2-5 year’s post-qualification experience in real estate law.
  • A mix of data centre, institutional and private equity expertise, with demonstrable experience of having worked on join ventures and financings.
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law and transactions.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client services.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
