Looking for a dynamic leader to shape the future of immunoassay bioanalysis? We’re on the hunt for an Associate Director – Immunoassay to join our innovative team in Cambridgeshire! As our Associate Director, you’ll take the helm of our immunoassay division, guiding scientific excellence and operational efficiency while fostering a high-performance, people-centred culture. Working closely with senior leadership, your expertise will ensure the delivery of top-quality data within GLP and GCP-compliant labs, supporting both pre-clinical and clinical studies. What You’ll Bring To The Table
- Deep scientific expertise in immunoassay bioanalysis
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in bioanalytical or related fields
- Strong compliance knowledge (GLP, GCP) and attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams
- Excellent technical and people skills to inspire and develop others, ensuring smooth project delivery and audit readiness
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and represent the department confidently at key meetings and conferences
- Experience in business development or client relationship management
- Familiarity with resource planning and continuous process improvements
- Background in study management or acting as Study Director / PI / Analytical Project Manager
- Degree in a relevant scientific field (advanced degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in bioanalytical sciences, especially immunoassay platforms
- Prior senior leadership roles within GLP/GCP-compliant labs
- Willingness to support audit activities and address CAPAs promptly
- Ability to work with cross-site teams and support industry compliance standards
- Visa sponsorship possible for senior-level candidates, along with relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses where appropriate
