Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Roomset Coordinator to join the Home Retail Operations team, ideally with a background in merchandising. 

Working Pattern: Typically with a minimum 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home, subject to team schedules and business requirement, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.
 

The Role
As part of the Home Roomsets & Retail operations team, you will ensure the seamless execution of our Home and Furniture ranges across all retail stores. Working directly with the Furniture Product Teams, Branch Merchandising, Store Teams, Visual Merchandising & Distribution, you will make a direct impact on how our product is presented and traded. We will support you with guidance on internal processes and reporting tools to ensure you have everything you need to succeed from day one.

 

What You’ll Take On
Trade Analysis & Data Support: Support team manager with retail sales analysis and  daily/weekly sales reporting, Power BI analysis, and trade sheets highlighting key performance swings across store profiles.

Display & Stock Coordination: Produce reports to monitor stock availability, ex-display sell-through, sold-out items, run sell-off lists for approval, and maintain up-to-date "Find in Store" documentation.

Store Launches: Coordinate retail home launch, updating and communicating roomset reports, work with product teams to  manage store decoration orders, and oversee roomset dressing allocations and instructions, coordinate the "One Stop Shop" and travel occasionally across the UK to support new store openings and movements.

Store Communications: Compile and distribute the weekly Home Bulletin and all retail launch communication.

Swatch & Brochure Management: Maintain upholstery swatch stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, manage warehouse deliveries, complete store allocation sheets, and publish dropped/new swatch updates.

 

What You’ll Bring
Qualifications: Solid analytical skills, ability to  use databases and software ensuring accuracy to support reporting of trading information and recommendations. Excellent planning and organisation skills. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends to enhance your retail knowledge.

Technical Proficiency: Basic PC skills, Microsoft Office, including Excel , Google Suite including Google Sheets, Power BI knowledge desirable not essential.

Organisational Skills & Drive: Excellent planning and time management skills, commercial awareness, a strong willingness to work hard, and the ability to independently manage your workload while keeping to tight deadlines and critical paths.

Communication & Interpersonal Strengths: Excellent oral, written, and literary skills, strong social skills, and the enthusiasm, dedication, and confidence to liaise professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and managers across all product and management teams.

Flexibility: A happiness and willingness to travel occasionally around the UK for store visits and launches.
