Assistant Accountant

£35k-£45k Assistant Accountant | City of London | Hybrid (4 days in office Fridays from home)

A boutique real estate investment and development business is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support its finance function and day-to-day operations. This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure across accounts, property administration and business operations within a professional, close-knit team.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing invoices, expenses and payment runs
• Bank reconciliations and finance administration
• Raising sales and rental invoices
• Maintaining accurate financial and CRM records
• Document management and SharePoint administration
• Supporting property and project-related operations
• General office and administrative support
• THIS ROLE WILL GROW AS YOU DO.

About you:

• Part qualified around the 3-9 papers though, as it lines up with progression timing
• Experience in finance administration, accounts payable or bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to manage deadlines
• Property or real estate experience
• Experience of automation processes or enthusiasm to learn
